PureMountainSpringTM
Water Filter

Now you can turn tap water into crystal clear drinking water for just pennies a gallon.  This patented filter has been system tested and certified by NSF International against ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for reduction of chlorine (99%), taste, and odor, and Standard 53 for the reduction of lead (98% at pH 6.5), to filter 140 gallons of water. The filter will deliver about 300 gallons of water before the performance begins to degrade appreciably.  The filter should be changed at least every six months, which equates to normal household or small office usage of about two 5-gallon bottles each week. The patented ceramic and activated charcoal filter technology dramatically improves the taste of ordinary tap water, removing essentially all chlorine, lead (if present), odors, and other contaminates.

New Customers -- How do I use the filter?

Simply place the filter on top of your water cooler or water crock with the small end resting in the reservoir and the large "basin" end facing upright.  Any standard commercial 3 or 5-gallon water bottle may be used with your filter.  With water crocks, it is recommended that you use a 3-gallon water bottle rather than a 5-gallon bottle because of stability considerations.  Invert the bottle into place so it rests on the filter.

New Customers -- Will it fit my Water Cooler?

The PureMountainSpringTM water filter fits most water coolers, including Oasis, Whirlpool, Water-Boy, Sunroc, Greenway, Sunbeam, General Electric (GE), Elkay, Hamilton Beach, Oster, Avanti, and Vitapure (now sold at Costco) water coolers, and most Brita water coolers, which you may have purchased from Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, BJ's, Target, Lowes, Home Depot, or Costco.  The GE and older models of the Oasis, Addi, Elkay, and Whirlpool water coolers require an adapter ring, which we will provide.  Note:  The replacement water filter for those of you who have previously used the Elkay water cooler filter (the Elkay PureSmart 150 -- P/N 25008B), which is no longer being manufactured, requires an adapter ring for almost all models of the Elkay water coolers.  Note also:  Most of the Elkay water bottles used with the Elkay PureSmart 150 are not standard water cooler bottles -- a standard bottle is necessary to work our filter.  The Oasis, Addi, and Whirlpool water coolers that require the adapter ring have white plastic reservoirs.  All GE water coolers with a small vertical stainless steel vent tube that runs up the interior side of the reservoir require the adapter ring.  We will ship the adapter ring to you at no cost with your filter if you call (800 451 4133) and request the adapter ring when you place your order.

The PureMountainSpringTM water filter also fits almost all other water dispensers that are designed to be used with a standard water bottle, such as ceramic water crocks.  (The filter will NOT fit a mini-countertop cooler that has a reservoir diameter of less than 4.75 inches.)  Again, if an adapter ring is needed, call Customer Service at 800 451 4133 to have it included with your filter purchase.

You can determine which coolers will work with our filters as follows:

    * To use our filter (without our adapter ring), the top opening of  water cooler or water crock should be level and unobstructed.
    * Some water coolers have no-spill devices that obstruct the opening to the reservoir, but most of these can be easily removed (see your instructions for cleaning your water cooler reservoir).
    * The diameter of the opening (the top of the reservoir) should NOT be greater than 6.25 inches.
    * To see where the filter will sit on top of the water cooler take a string and measure 6.7" across.  This is the diameter of the flange on the filter.  Hold the string across the opening on the top of the water cooler to tell where the flange on the filter will rest.
    * If the opening of the top of your water cooler is greater than 6.25", our adapter ring will extend the flange on the water filter to 7" -- call to have the adapter ring included with your order.
    * From the level of the flange where the filter sits on top of the cooler down to the top edge of the reservoir containing the water, the distance must be 1.5" or less.  (With the filter in place on the cooler, the lip of the bottle when inverted into the filter must be below the top of the reservoir.)  Most reservoirs come very close to the top of the cooler so this would rarely be a concern.

Our filter works with all standard bottles intended for use with water coolers.

The AddiPure Replacement
Water Filter

The AddiPureTM replacement water filter is intended for use with the counter top water coolers manufactured by Whirlpool, Oasis, and Addi. The AddiPureTM filter also fits on the AddiPureTM bottle, but it requires that you have the adapter ring (which is no longer manufactured, so please retain this if you wish to continue to use the AddiPureTM water filter with your bottle). We no longer have either the AddiPureTM bottles or the adapter rings.

Please be advised that the Addipure water filter production has been discontinued by the manufacturer.

These are the only filters that were designed to be used with the AddiPureTM bottles (for standard water coolers) and for the Whirlpool and Addi Countertop Water Coolers.  Although we still stock a limited number of the AddipureTM water filters, we know of no other supply and we can not predict how long our supply will remain available.

Because our remaining stock is limited we must restrict purchases to two filters at a time.

We recommend that you change as soon as possible to the PureMountainSpring™ water filter, which provides superior filtration performance and value when compared to any other filter for water coolers.  This filter is simply placed on your water cooler between the cooler and the bottle (it does not screw onto the bottle) and filters water from your bottle directly into your cooler reservoir.  It works with any standard commercial 3-gallon or 5-gallon bottle.  (Note: The Addipure
TM bottle does not have a standard neck and it will not work with this filter.)  We recommend a 3-gallon bottle with a handle, such as that shown on our web site because it will fit under the tap on most kitchen sinks and it is much easier to lift than a 5-gallon bottle.  The filter will not work directly on the Whirlpool and Addi Countertop Coolers, but it can be used to filter tap water into another container, which can then be poured into the countertop cooler.  It also works well with any standard water crock.

The PureMountainSpring™ water filter has been system tested and certified by NSF International against ANSI/NSF Standard 42 for reduction of chlorine (99%), taste, and odor, and Standard 53 for the reduction of lead (98% at pH 6.5).  The filter will deliver approximately 300 gallons of water before the performance begins to degrade.  The filter should be changed at least every six months, which equates to normal household or small office usage of about two 5-gallon bottles each week.  In comparison, the Addipure filters approximately 100 gallons, lasting only about two months with normal usage.

If you wish, we can provide you with the new filter and a new 3 gallon polycarbonate bottle with a handle for $34.90 plus S/H.   Filters purchased separately are $24.95 each, with discounts for larger quantities
